Johnsonville Charitable Trust

Johnsonville Community Centre Extension – The Trust provided a grant of $100,000 to assist completion of the Centre expansion (the naming of the Trusts room on the East side of the Centre recognises the JLT contribution and that from another Trust).

Newlands Community Centre – The Trust granted $500,000 to enable the proposed Community Centre to be significantly enhanced over and above what was otherwise to be provided by the Council.

Alex Moore Sports Complex – a grant of $50,000 has been provided to assist in obtaining Resource Consent for the proposed combined sporting club complex (Football etc).

Johnsonville Plunket – The Trust approved a grant of $130,000 in March 2012 to assist in the rebuild and fit out of a new Plunket Centre in Johnsonville.

Wellington Free Ambulance – The Trust approved a grant of $30,000 (March 2012) to assist in the purchase of a new ambulance.
